A warm welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. So I have now started a wee blog to give some insight into some of the projects and travels behind the pictures.

So the reason for blogging is sharing of ideas and inspiration rather than just deal with the technicalities of an image, for me important to get back to ‘why we do what we do’.

To be inspired and motivated by the surroundings and environment we find ourselves in, to record/capture these moments through our own artistic vision. This can be aided or not through all the technology available to us what is ‘real’ and ‘not real’ creates an interesting dance in a visual-based commercial economy.

So my first image from my blog is a photograph of the human form but stripped back just to show simple form. The inspiration for this comes from my first experiments with photography and the cut-outs of Henri Matisse

Words and grammar are my weakness, therefore I work towards making my images my strength.
