This is the blog of photographer Martin Phillimore.
Martin is based in Scotland and works for clients all over the United Kingdom, and internationally. He is fascinated with light and imagery, and passionate about the human form. working first in lighting design, he progressed naturally into photography and now captures subject, light and emotion through his medium of choice.
He loves working with people, whether as subjects or part of a creative team, and is equally at home in the large industrial landscape as in the intimacy of one-to-one visual communication.
Photography is at an exciting stage in its development, with film and digital capture offering optimum workflow, maximum creativity and choice. Using image manipulation, the photographer can be just as creative in post-production as on the shoot.
